The Volkswagen Jetta is a fast, fun, and sporty car. Exterior Design

The Jetta's exterior is eye-catching without being too flashy. The redesigned exterior features an elegantly sculpted body. The newly redesigned LED headlights and LED daytime running lamps sit on either side of the slender and sporty grille. To give the vehicle a more athletic look, the front can also be equipped with a Sports bumper that features a subtle illumination at either end. Comfortable Interior Features  

The Jetta's interior is packed with a wide range of luxurious features. The driver-concentrated cockpit puts everything right at your fingertips while the rest of your passengers get to stretch out in spacious and comfortable seats. Both the back and the front seats are wrapped in soft and comfortable cloth fabric; however, leather-faced seats are available. Heated front seats are also standard, and heated rear seats are available.  

The interior is not only comfortable, but it is also exceptionally stylish. The available customizable ambient lighting allows you to choose between 10 different interior lighting colors to help set the mood.

Safety Features

Ensuring the safety of everyone on the road has always been Volkswagen's number one goal. And when the engineers were designing the Jetta, they kept that goal at the top of the list.   

This year, the Jetta has a few new standard and available safety features to offer. However, no matter which model you choose, you are going to get a Jetta that was manufactured using an energy-absorbing body design that features a unique safety cage to help keep everyone in the vehicle safe in the event of an accident.

The Jetta comes equipped with a wide range of high-tech features. The standard 6.5-inch infotainment display, but an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, is also available. Both displays come standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a mobile hotspot. There is also a standard digital cockpit that features an 8-inch display and is fully customizable to allow you to display certain information. Drivers who want to upgrade to the Digital Cockpit Pro will enjoy the added benefits of having a larger 10.25 screen and a turn-by-turn navigation system that is displayed just beyond the steering wheel.  

To help ensure that everyone is able to keep their phones and smart devices powered on, the Jetta comes equipped with several USB charging ports and offers an available wireless charging pad. 

 IQ.Drive

This year, the Jetta comes standard with an innovative system that adds a wide range of additional safety and driver-assist features to the vehicle. The IQ.Drive system gives drivers and passengers added peace of mind by providing the following features:

Performance and Handling

This year, the Jetta has replaced its old 1.4-litre engine for a new peppier 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The new engine is able to deliver up to 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission comes standard, but you can opt for the smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission that is available. Both transmissions provide a nimble and controlled driving experience. 

Trim Levels

The base model Jetta is referred to as the Trendline model. However, there are two other trim levels: the Comfortline and the Highline. All three trim levels have a wide range of unique and exciting features to offer.   

The Comfortline offers a lot of the same standard features that the Trendline comes with. However, the Comfortline also offers an available Sports Package. With this package, you get the available Sports bumper, a new bold wheel design as well as black accents on the grill mirror caps, headliner, and window trim.  

The Highline comes with a variety of high-end luxury features including cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and standard interior ambient lighting.
