Which Volkswagen SUV Is Right For Me?

When it comes to fun and sporty SUV, Volkswagen has many options to choose from. Each Volkswagen SUV comes with distinctive features that help it to stand out from the competition.

Because there are so many options to choose from, it can be very confusing trying to figure out which model would be best for you. To help make the decision a little easier for you, here is a look at the four different Volkswagen SUV models that are currently available.

Taos

What customers like about this model:

  • Fuel-efficient engine
  • Quick acceleration times
  • Sporty Exterior Design

The Volkswagen Taos has a fun and sporty design on both the interior and exterior. The exterior is highlighted by a boldly-sculpted body and unique square-shaped fenders. To give it a more heart-turning appearance, the Taos offers an available illuminated grille that features a bright LED bar that stretches across the grille. There are also available LED headlights to help improve visibility on the dark streets.

The interior is adorned in durable materials and soft, cloth fabric. Sitting in the middle of the dash is a 6.5-inch infotainment display, but a larger 8-inch touchscreen display is available. Both displays come standard with a wide range of innovative apps and features, which include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is a standard 8-inch digital instrument cluster that can be upgraded to the larger 10.3-inch display.

Under the hood of the Taos is a peppy and efficient 1.5-litre turbo 4-cylinder engine that delivers 158 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. With this impressive engine, the Taos can get an estimated 8.4 L/100km in the city and 6.6 L/100km on the highway.

Tiguan

What customers like about this model:

  • Versatile
  • Exceptional Headspace
  • Luxurious Interior

The Volkswagen Tiguan features a practical yet stylish exterior design. The body is outlined in sharp lines and subtle curves. There are also four large doors and a large rear hatch that help to make loading and unloading cargo easy. The back hatch can also come with an available hands-free system that allows you to easily open the hatch by swiping your foot under the bumper.

The Tiguan has a spacious and luxurious interior. Standard features include a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel as well as heated leather front seats. The cabin can fit up to five passengers but offers an available third row to seat up to seven passengers. The rear cargo area is also large, but if you need a little extra room, the rear seats can fold down in a 20/40/20 split to create up to 2,018 liters of interior cargo space.

The 2.0-litre I-4 engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and can deliver up to 184 horsepower. The vehicle comes standard with front-wheel drive, but a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is available.

Atlas

What customers like about this model:

  • Standard Third Row
  • Family-Friendly Interior

There are also several storage compartments located throughout the cabin to help keep everyone's items organized and out of the way.
